NEXT LEVEL IMPACT

NEXT LEVEL IMPACT is a 501(c)(3) aimed to instill core people skills and values in young people that will take them to the NEXT LEVEL on and off the court. We celebrate sports as a powerful tool for youth development. 

 

Through basketball active and competitive play, our program recognizes the power of sports to drive social development, promote tolerance and respect, and foster social inclusion. Our commitment to youth in the Des Moines community has inspired us to incorporate life skills, such as increasing self-awareness and coping with emotions through physical training. We recognize that expanding sports programming in this way adds the potential to become a powerful vehicle to address important risk factors for crime and violence, especially among youth.

 

Over the past few years, we have seen increasing demand for funding support through scholarships, especially for disadvantaged youth. We have done our best to meet these demands through sponsorships, and quite frankly just eating the costs in our effort to accept every child that wanted to participate. 

 

During this time, we have provided over 75 full scholarships to children ages K-11th grade and the demand is growing. As a result, we decided to launch NEXT LEVEL IMPACT (NLI) as a vehicle to secure additional funding to make our program available to ALL youth in the Greater Des Moines Area that would like to participate.

 

We need your help! Your support will help us continue to provide a viable path for young people in Des Moines, Iowa through transformative sports.
