Coach Paul Pedersen

Coach Paul Pedersen has been a coach in central Iowa for the past 18 years.  His interest in coaching was to help young people learn life lessons through basketball and pay it forward to the community. Coach Paul has assisted with the Capital City Summer League for 15 years, a league featuring Iowa State and Drake players along with local players from NAIA, D3, JUCO, and high school programs.  For the past 7 seasons, Coach P has served as an assistant coach within the Ankeny Centennial Jaguars boys basketball program.  He has served at several different high school and AAU programs over his coaching career.

With a successful 25-year career within the financial services and insurance industry, 21 years with Nationwide, Coach P believes that team chemistry and individual development are key to the success of everyone involved.  He joins NLPA to help further champion each player’s experience along with team development while building lifelong relationships with families.
